Lilibeth saw Dr. Borden today and xrays show 5 puppies (most likely). Very uniform in size, and he examined Lilibeth's heart and such, too. While we were studying the xray, we also took some time out to marvel at her nice hips and spine ;) So, here are the Poldark Puppies' "first photos"!

Training and Socialization is on with great guns now. Here are the pups visiting Home Depot (the Halloween robots and inflates were particularly scary but the pups did well!) and Brix Pizza where the manager safely snuggled with them and showed them off to customers ;) (. . . . . . And here the pups got to help teach piano and met all sorts of piano students of all ages and sizes ;)! Wow! What a nice compliment we received from the behaviorist/trainer who conducted the temperament evaluations for the Coffeehouse litter girls on 9-13-22. She said this was the best litter we have bred -- so consistent in looks and temperament. (Given that she breeds Golden Retrievers to be therapy dogs, she has very high expectations so that was a great reassurance that we are on the right track.) Here are some scenes from the Temperament evaluation. We did a live feed on Facebook however, alas, the audio didn't work for some reason. The written evaluations, though, share insight as to the dialogue, however, and they are available under each puppy's photo on their webpage. Victoria, Maggie, Olivia, and Kasey got to meet a new pug (Piper) and several new amazing folks at their 6 week puppy party! They were rock stars at all 4 stations .... this is such a consistent litter in looks as well as temperament. We just love them so much! All of the Flying Kilt Litter pups are getting so much better at puppy pushups! This litter is so loving and sweet like their mama Annie and so easy going. Honestly, they have been one of the easiest litters we've ever had -- not very barky, easy go lucky, healthy, and love cuddles. Here is Heather working on her "sit" and "stand" with just the hand gesture and no food lure. They enjoyed "vanilla" scent today .... Kasey wasn't fond of it but Victoria went in for a 2nd sniff! They are mesmerized by the Gondalier singing toy. |
